Discipline leads to success in anything and everything
Job 5:17 “happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty”
Revelation 3:19 “as many as I love I rebuke and chasten”
Hebrews 12:10 “For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our PROFIT, that we may be partakers of His holiness”
Proverbs 25:28 “whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.”
People are physically and mentally LAZY…. They are looking for results without effort… therefore the world is filled with people making money from the idea that you can achieve without effort.
For example, eat your way to a slim figure or learn to play the piano without practice… ANYTHING that’s hard to do WILL take time and EFFORT, but there is always somebody (a con artist ?) selling you a “quick” alternative because people are suckers for this sort of thing, they WANT it to be true and they confuse their wishes with reality.
It takes MOTIVATION and DISCIPLINE to ACHIEVE anything worthwhile and do not let anybody tell you otherwise. Make up your mind early that you will make SACRIFICES to achieve your goals.
When your goal is the do God’s will and work… whatever sacrifices you make have eternal rewards… this is why Jesus sacrificed His life for us and now reigns forevermore blessed.
You can be confident of success when you have disciplined yourself appropriately.
