Special note before you read today’s post: I always stress BALANCE… today’s post may seem harsh… and please don’t misunderstand it…. true concern for the sufferings of others is a good thing… and we are expected to care for the poor, the fatherless and the widows… but it should be done under the direction of the Holy Spirit and with their ultimate Spiritual upliftment in mind… purely humanitarian efforts by unsaved people, however well intentioned, are usually doomed to failure… as Jesus said, “….and if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Matthew 15:14)

There is a popular lie spreading all over the world  today… and it is, that “progress” is being made in “reforming” the world…. “people” are becoming “better”…more “tolerant” and “loving”… the churches are raking in followers by the thousands with “the King’s kids prosperity theology”…. and we can just picture that day (just around the corner, perhaps ?) when the song, “We are the world, we are the children….” becomes a reality… but let’s analyze this idea…. here are the words:

“There comes a time when we heed a certain call, When the world must come together as one… We are a part of God’s great big family.. And the truth, you know, Love is all we need… As God has shown us, By turning stone to bread… So we all must lend a helping hand…. We are the world, We  are the children We are the ones to make a brighter day So let’s start giving There’s a choice we’re making We’re saving our own lives…”

This song is composed by the devil… and here is a little proof, nowhere in the Bible does God turn stone into bread….. but that is what Satan suggested that  Jesus should do when he was tempting Him (Matthew 4:3)…. Satan’s handiwork is all over this song, but further analysis will have to wait till another day.

But that’s not all… what happened to all the money raised by “Band Aid” and “Live Aid” ???… it went to strengthen the army and buy weapons…. there is no doubt that the proceeds of the “Live Aid” and other relief organisations  INCREASED the torture and hardship of the starving people of Ethiopia…. Read the article here:

Satan’s “charity” therefore served a double purpose for him, fleece the affluent Western middle-class do-gooders and use their money to promote further killing, genocide and torture.

What does God say about this world ? …. the Lord Jesus Christ announced that all it’s works were evil and He refused to pray for it (John 17:9)

GOSH ! ….  you say… but how could a LOVING GOD…. just  IGNORE the great “humanitarian crisis”… the millions of SUFFERING people…. that’s not the God I know and THAT’s not the God I worship…. my friend, if you are not worshipping the GOD OF THE BIBLE (who is the SAME yesterday, today and forever) then you are worshipping a false god, namely, the devil.

The GREAT GOD… LORD of LORDS and KING of KINGS…. NEVER talked about “saving” the whole world… He talked about saving people “out of” the world….in fact, the world has been CONDEMNED to DESTRUCTION (along with the millions of people in it… and they are going to die… one way or the other).

What GOD has been doing for the last 2000 years  is plucking INDIVIDUALS out of the “CONDEMNED WRECK”….. please understand, all the promises, all the hope lies with “those who were given to Him by the Father” (John 17:6)….. JUST as NOAH was selected and the rest of humanity ANNIHILATED in the flood….. so it will be at the end of the age.

My friend, God is not saving the world, and at no time, since the creation or before, did He ever have the idea of saving the whole world. God is not saving all church members either. What God is doing is to take out a people for His name… they are known as the Elect, the Saints, the Chosen Ones and the Bride of Christ….. these are they, who heed the Call…. who have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb

“For many are called but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14)

and the words of Revelation 3:20 still apply, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and OPEN THE DOOR, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Prayer for Today:

Loving Heavenly Father, as your little children, it is a WONDER to us… WHY you have chosen us (instead of somebody else)…. how come we heeded your Call when others will not ?…. we know not the answer to this mystery, but like Jesus, we pray for all those that will heed your Call in the future…. use us Lord in your service and grant that we may bear fruit for Jesus… and in His name we now pray and ask these things. Amen
